A professional home for Telangana's independent press.
The Telangana Medium, Small Daily & Periodicals Journalists Association brings together the journalists, editors and publishers who sustain local and regional journalism across the state.
Registered with the Registrar of Societies, Karimnagar, the association works to raise professional standards, protect press freedom and build welfare support for its members — as set out in its registered Memorandum of Society.

Professional standing
To raise the status of members of the profession of journalists.

To build up and administer funds for legal aid, unemployment, disablement, retirement and death benefits of an allied nature.

To work for and promote legislation for the welfare of working journalists.
Training
To secure facilities for training of journalists country-wide and periodic exchanges abroad.
Official journals
To publish official journals of the association.
Representation
To secure representation of working journalists on delegations, commissions and committees of State and Central Governments.
